Applus+ has been awarded the service for promoting energy efficiency in various Primary Care Centers of the Córdoba Health District and Guadalquivir Health District. The project is promoted by the Andalusian Health Service and 85% co-financed by ERDF Funds, within the 2021–2027 framework.
The action is fully aligned with the new European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which positions the energy renovation of public building stock as a key element for reducing consumption and emissions, improving building energy performance, and anticipating future regulatory and reporting requirements.
This project for Andalusian public healthcare is developed under a comprehensive end-to-end approach, covering everything from engineering and solution design to execution management and control. Applus+ provides its technical expertise and regulatory knowledge, with special attention to health and safety management as a fundamental pillar to ensure efficient, safe implementation in compliance with current regulations.
Through this action, Applus+ reinforces its value proposition in energy efficiency applied to public buildings, contributing to improving the energy performance of strategic healthcare infrastructure, optimizing consumption, increasing comfort for users and professionals, and advancing the decarbonization of the public sector, supporting administrations in their energy transition through real and measurable projects.
