Urban Planning Collaborating Entity of the Generalitat Valenciana (ECUV)

Applus Organismo de Control, an authorized control body, acts as a collaborating entity of the Administration (Decree 62/2020, of May 15, of the Consell) and is accredited by ENAC, with accreditation number 548/EI820, for the inspection and verification in the procedures for the processing of urban development actions in relation to the basic requirements of quality, urban development legislation, applicable planning and verification of their adequacy.

Our technicians have extensive experience and knowledge of the applicable regulations, which allows us to offer the service in the best conditions to ensure compliance with regulations, safety and functionality required.

The verification and inspection of urban planning actions (building permits and responsible declarations) is provided to any individual and/or legal entity interested in speeding up urban planning procedures:

• Urban planning license: the favorable certificate issued by Applus Control Agency will have the same validity as the technical reports issued by the municipal services.
• Responsible declaration: the favorable certificate will allow the works to begin immediately.

The functions performed by Applus Organismo de Control, S.L.U. as ECUV are:

1. Verify compliance with the requirements of documentary integrity, sufficiency and suitability of the projects and the technical documentation corresponding to the building permit or responsible declaration, as required by the applicable regulations for carrying out the urban development action.
2. To certify compliance, in the construction project and the technical documentation, with the basic quality requirements of the buildings, including their installations, to satisfy the basic requirements of functionality, safety and habitability, in accordance with the provisions of the state, regional and local building regulations.
3. To certify compliance, in the project submitted, with the applicable urban legislation and planning.
4. To issue a certificate on the adequacy of the execution of the works to the responsible declaration or to the license granted during the process of execution of these.
5. Issue certificate on the adequacy of the executed works to the responsible declaration, license or license of first occupation.
